Safari without Luggage?
Our East Africa journey begins with a 27‑hour travel marathon, a mad dash through Amsterdam, and a twist we didn’t see coming: our luggage didn’t make the flight. With less than 30 hours before we leave Kenya for a once‑in‑a‑lifetime safari in Tanzania, the race is officially on. But Nairobi has a way of lifting your spirits.
Come along as we explore the city with our Asilia guide David, visit Kobe Tough to watch ceramic beads being crafted by hand, wander local shops, and feed giraffes at the Giraffe Centre — all while waiting for a message that our bags have finally arrived.
Other than the giraffe center, this video is more of a travel video than a safari video. But such a story, I couldn’t help but tell it. The next installment has us on safari, and what a day it was. We thought it was the best it could get, but it turned out things just kept getting better for the next two weeks!
